Personal Assets

According to the story'' Hatchet '', for the sake of survival in the wilderness, Brian had used lots of personal assets. I think that the most important personal assets are self-reliance, problem solving, encouragement and courage. Brian had to be self-reliance in the story, since people didn't even know his position, for the sake of survival, he had to arouse his living skills. He fought against nature and tried to solve the problems within them, such as fighting against mosquitoes. Since he considered that how worrying his parents might be ( if they knew he got lost ), he decided to subsist independently. Thanks to his father and his friend, Terry, he got a hint about survival-- hatchet. Through a series of groping, he then discovered that sparkles could make a fire ( although it's because he couldn't control his emotions ). However, he had the bravery to survive independently in the wilderness. Furthermore, I think that the most significant is that he was lucky. He had good luck on survive through a plane crash, he had a good luck to discover how to make a fire, and he had a good luck on picking and collecting berries which a bear won't even hurt him. On the other hand, I don't think that I have any greatest assets. Anyhow, I think that the assets that I have are serene, hardworking ( because I'm not smart ), and helpful ( but often fails ). Moreover, I don't think that my assets could help me to survive in the wilderness, but serene might be the only possibility.
