Basically, my idea for designing a board game is inferring the murderer because the plot is related to the Westing Games. To deduce the murderer, we need clues that contain super clue cards and detective note cards. Each clue would hide in different corners. The independent variables for this game are the numbers of characters, different types of weapons, and the rooms that the victim had been killed. Clues are collected by obtaining special counters, and referencing the number on this to a list of clues on the detective notes. Some clues will inform players of a super clue, and give its location (e.x. "There is a clue in the garden"). Two of the corners show COLORS which are associated with the characters, weapons or room. This information can be found in the Detective Note Cards. Each character, weapon or room therefore has a different secret code. Since the players might communicate and exchange information, there are only accusations among the players. When a player thinks he or she has discovered, by means of the information collected, they have to declare the following three things:
I) The murderer
II) The weapon used
III) The room where the crime was committed
Eventually, this is my design for board games~
Hey Angela!

Super clue card and detective note cards sounds really interesting. Great ideas!
I really like the idea of the murdur, and the clue idea is just creative! The accusion part is also quite interesting, and I was wondering if the individuals can team up.
