Outsiders Film v Book
Outsiders is the first personal loyalty of brotherhood that interests me in a particular way. Since I was somewhat disliked the battles with blooding, it made me felt frightening and disgusting, I couldn't stand up for the image. ( because I'm a peaceful person ) However, I could truly support the steadfast friendship between the characters in the novel. They aren't the perfect students in school who always get high grades, in fact, they smoke and they fight. But, they fight for their self-respects. I love both films and novels for Outsiders, I feel better for the novels; parts of the reasons are that I haven't finished the film, parts of the reasons are that I feel quite tight for the film, though I had to spend more time on reading. Furthermore, there are some scenes that I feel quite differ from the novels, such as Darry was so agitated that he was almost exploded-- slapping Ponyboy. I think that the film presents so fast that I even feel that Ponyboy had ready to escape by turning his feet before Darry exploded. The film didn't capture the tension well, but it had released the emotion of characters by lively gestures. Anyhow, both the film and novel of Outsiders had truly interest me, and made me willing to think about the discrimination among different races; in reality, the story builds an exciting plot.
