Who Do You Want To Be?

  Since I didn't really spend so much on reading Anne Frank's diary on the text book, I only knew information about Anne Frank by Holt Reader and concise summary from English class. Although I have read few diaries about Anne, I could observe and infer that she is an energetic and courageous girl. She could coordinate with her family at the right moment, not acting capricious by indulging in emotions and causing problems ( Ex. refuse to transfer and leave her friends ).  She was obedient and behaved herself very well. However, though Anne had so many good behaviors that worth for me to learn from, she isn't the character that I would want to be; since I'm not brisk nor active, I won't like to act her. The character that I decided to act is Miet Gies, not only helpful, she is also an intimate friend of Anne, and loves her a lot. She was the person who discovered Anne's diary and kept it till Mr. Frank returned. Except of Ms. Miet's kindness, I would choose her because she didn't require too many dialogues nor actions, unlike Anne Frank, I didn't have to energise myself by acting lively. That's why I love acting the characters in the background ( minor roles ), since they were sort of invisible!
